The Collins Project

This full main floor and upstairs renovation was all about refreshing the home while honoring its original character—creating a space that feels warm, cohesive, and easy to settle into.

Throughout the home, the existing hardwood floors were carefully sanded and re-stained, bringing new life to the space. Baseboards, casings, and doors were also retained and transformed from a golden oak to a rich walnut brown, adding depth and warmth while preserving the home’s timeless details. Fresh paint throughout both levels brightened every room and tied the entire renovation together.

The kitchen was completely reimagined to be both functional and inviting, featuring new cabinetry, updated countertops, and a tiled backsplash that adds texture and interest. Panel-ready appliances allow the space to feel seamless and uncluttered - perfect for everyday cooking, gathering, and entertaining.

A new railing paired with freshly stained stair treads and painted risers creates a beautiful transition between levels, adding a sense of craftsmanship and continuity. Upstairs, new flooring brings a clean, updated feel to each bedroom. The boys’ bathroom was refreshed with a newly tiled tub surround and a new vanity, creating a space that feels both practical and polished.

The ensuite became a true retreat, fully transformed with a standalone soaker tub and a custom tiled shower complete with a built-in bench - an inviting space to unwind at the end of the day.

The result is a thoughtfully renovated home that balances warmth and refinement, where every detail works together to create a comfortable, welcoming place to live, relax, and make lasting memories.
